PowAir Safe & Effective Odor Eliminatoin for Over 25 Years
PowAir odor eliminator products were developed in response to industrial needs. Their founder and CEO, Shane Lander, once worked as a firefighter in Vancouver, Canada. When he joined the Hazmat team to clean up after commercial fires, he was alarmed at the toxicity of the cleanup materials. Often, the cleanup materials were more toxic and harmful to workers and residents than the odors they were trying to eliminate.
Shane was determined to find a better solution. After much searching, he met a scientist who had spent 25 years developing a proprietary essential oil formula for odor elimination. Shane was so impressed with the all-natural formulation, he secured the rights and started Odorchem Manufacturing Corp, PowAir’s parent company.
He started selling this essential oil formula to industrial businesses. Impressed by their effectiveness, employees of these businesses took the products home to try. Soon, they were asking why they couldn’t buy these products in retail stores. And so they developed PowAir, a product line for home and commercial use.
