    • Ingredients: Extra virgin coconut oil (Cold Pressed)

May help with Skin & Coat, Joints, Heart & Immune

      Veterinary Health Product: NN.U5O9

Ways coconut oil can benefit your pet's health:

Skin & coat health: Coconut oil is rich in fatty acids, including lauric acid, which can help promote a shiny and healthy coat in pets. It may also help alleviate dry skin and reduce itching, making it beneficial for pets with skin conditions or allergies.

Digestion support: Coconut oil may have mild antibacterial and antiviral properties, which can help improve digestion and support the immune system. It may also aid in the absorption of nutrients from food.

Dental health: Some pet owners brush their pets' teeth with coconut oil as it can help reduce bacteria in the mouth and improve overall dental hygiene.

Energy boost: Coconut oil contains medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), which can provide a quick energy source for active pets. It may particularly benefit working dogs or those engaging in strenuous physical activities.

Brain health: MCTs in coconut oil support healthy brain function and may benefit senior pets or those with cognitive issues.

Topical benefits: When applied directly onto the skin, it can help conditions like hot spots, bites, stings, or itchy, dry skin.

MCTs: Our coconut oil has much higher MCTs, 80% (medium-chain triglycerides), which helps the body absorb nutrients and good fats quicker.

Lauric Acid – along with another fatty acid, caprylic acid, that give coconut its antiviral and antimicrobial properties.  Our coconut oil is roughly half lauric acid, so it has about 3.5 grams per teaspoon.  We've already mentioned the anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties of coconut oil. The lauric acid is also supposed to fight off viruses.

*Mixing tip - mix solidified coconut oil with powdered supplements to create a yummy paste that will stick to your pet's dry kibble or food.*

    • Collagen is a natural supplement that helps to lubricate and protect connective tissues that support the hips and joint health. Think of collagen as the glue holding the contents of the body together. About one-third of your dog & cat's protein is collagen. As your pet's body ages, collagen production slows down, so ensuring they get enough in their diet is essential. Collagen also is what gives your pet's skin healthy elasticity. A sufficient amount in their diet can help your dog or cat shed less, itch less, and have a softer, shinier coat. We packaged it in a recyclable black jar with a 1/4 teaspoon for easy serving.
