Receiving a Certificate of Achievement through The American Institute of Bakers is a significant challenge for any food-industry-related business to acquire; however, being on the receiving end of a superior rating is an exceptional honor and our greatest accomplishment this year.

AIB International trains companies to create unquestionable procedures for safety, security, and traceability of product, by way of audits and inspections. The purpose of AIB certification is to affirm a member’s ability to eliminate risk of contamination to food products (including chemicals, dirt and pests) through rigorous product tracking, strict methods of operation, documentation, pest management, and overall facility cleanliness and maintenance.

A certificate of achievement for Maddies seemed to be the next logical step in guaranteeing the highest possible standards of product safety. Maddies is pleased to accept the additional responsibility of ensuring that all products are handled with fastidious care in accordance with AIB guidelines from the time they’re received into our warehouse, all the way through the channel, until they’ve been delivered to our retail customers.
