AIB Certification Strengthens Commitment to Food Safety
Local pet products business achieves superior rating

British Columbia, Canada – Since the 2007 pet food recalls, many pet food manufacturers, distributors and retailers have taken a strict stance on quality control programs and safety practices for the best health of pets. One local pet products distributor, Maddies Natural Pet Products, has gone above and beyond to strengthen its commitment to food safety by achieving AIB Certification with American Institute of Baking (AIB), International.

Maddies Natural Pet Products recently received a “Superior” rating on its AIB certification for both its Delta, BC and Edmonton, AB locations.

AIB grants Certifications of Achievement to businesses in the food industry. This certification is based on the company’s ability to implement approved policies and procedures - and the most stringent safety measures - through inspections, audits and training.
